103-year-old Asghar Ali cast his vote in Coochbehar district of West Bengal for the first time today. He is from Madhya Mashaldanga enclave in Dinhata assembly constituency of Cooch Behar. Voting for the sixth and final phase of West Bengal assembly elections started amid tight security. More than 58 lakh people are registered to vote in the 25 constituencies spanning the Cooch Behar and East Midnapore district.
