After slap by IAS officer, victim recounts incident; Chhattisgarh CM punishes DC

As the video of his assault went viral, ensuring action and condemnation from the highest levels of the Chhattisgarh government, Aman Mittal expressed shock at the incident. He claims he was on his way home after delivering food for his sick grandmother at a Covid-19 hospital when he was accosted by then-Surajpur District Collector Ranbir Sharma. Mittal claims he was slapped, beaten with sticks, and his costly phone broken without reason.
