12-year-old dies after walking over 100 kms from Telangana amid lockdown

A 12-year-old girl died after walking for over 100 kms from Telangana to Chhattisgarh. The girl from Bijapur had gone to work in Telangana. The girl was on her way back with ten other people. They started their journey on foot as the roads were blocked due to lockdown. After walking for three days, the girl died. Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel announced compensation for the family.
