Covid-19 | India sends medicines abroad; Smriti Irani sews mask: Top updates

From India deploying health diplomacy, to Union minister Smriti Irani taking up the needle and thread to make masks - here are the top ten updates on the Covid-19 pandemic. The government has decided to exempt certain medical equipment from custom duty. These include ventilators, Covid testing kits, and face & surgical masks among others. Meanwhile, Mumbai and Madhya Pradesh followed Delhi and Uttar Pradesh's lead to seal Covid-19 hotspots. The central government also sanctioned Rs 15,000 crore for the Covid-19 war chest.
