Covid flash: India records 44,000+ cases in 24 hours, recovery rate at 97%

• India has reported 44,111 fresh covid-19 cases in the last 24 hours. Active caseload declined to 4,95,533 which constitutes 1.62% of total cases. A total of 34.46 crore vaccine doses have been administered so far. India has registered 57,477 recoveries in the last 24 hours and 2,96,05,779 patients have recovered so far across the country. Daily recoveries outnumbered daily new cases for 51st consecutive day. The coronavirus recovery rate increased to 97.06%. Watch the full video for more.
