Covid flash: India's daily caseload rises to 45,951; 60,000+ recoveries in 1 day

• India has reported 45,951 fresh covid-19 cases in the last 24 hours. Active caseload declined to 5,37,064 which constitutes 1.77% of total cases. A total of 33.28 crore vaccine doses have been administered so far. India has registered 60,729 recoveries in the last 24 hours. So far, 2,94,27,330 patients have recovered across the country. Daily recoveries outnumbered daily new cases for 48th consecutive day. The coronavirus recovery rate increased to 96.92%. The weekly covid positivity rate remained at 2.69%. Daily positivity rate at 2.34%, less than 5% for 23rd consecutive days. Testing capacity ramped up, a total of 41.01 crore tests conducted.
