From Covaxin’s final data on efficacy to the Karnataka government further easing restrictions, here are the top updates on the pandemic. Bharat Biotech released final data on the efficacy of its Covid-19 vaccine Covaxin. Bharat Biotech said Covaxin shows 77.8% efficacy against Covid and the vaccine gives 65% protection against the Delta variant. Meanwhile, scientists from IIT Kanpur suggest that the third wave might be like a “ripple”. The scientists suggested three possible scenarios for the third wave of Covid-19.
