Covid update: 35 crore doses given in India; Sputnik V jabs available in Delhi

- From Sputnik Light trials to Zydus Cadila seeking approval, here are the top updates on coronavirus. DCGI told Dr. Reddy’s to submit data from Russia for phase 3 clinical trial of the Sputnik V Covid-19 vaccine. Earlier, DCGI had refused to grant emergency-use approval authorization to Sputnik Light. Meanwhile, Indraprastha Apollo in Delhi started giving Sputnik V jabs on Wednesday and the hospital authorities said that around 1,000 people have been given the dose till now. Also, India cumulatively administered over 35 crore vaccine doses, as per the Co-Win dashboard. Health Ministry said over 28.17 lakh vaccine doses were administered on Thursday till 7 pm.
