Covid update: Cases at Olympics; ‘antibodies last 9 months’; kids & vaccines

- From scare at the Olympics to the duration of antibodies, here are the top updates on coronavirus. A US gymnast has tested positive for COvid-19 at the Olympics, USOPC said on Monday. Earlier, three more cases were detected at the Olympics Games village. Meanwhile, INSACOG’s Dr. NK Arora said the Delta variant accounted for 80% of new cases. The second wave of Covid-19 was primarily driven by the Delta variant. Also, a study has revealed that antibodies after infection can last for at least nine months.
