Updated on Sept 10, 2020 01:12 am IST

From Delhi witnessing its highest-ever one-day rise in new infections, to another Haryana minister testing positive - here are the top news updates on the Covid-19 pandemic. The national capital recorded over 4,000 new cases on September 9. Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal attributed the spike to a massive increase in testing - 50,000 in one day. In neighbouring Haryana, minister Kanwar Pal contracted the disease, weeks after Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar was hospitalised for the same. Meanwhile, the United States of America has kept India in its 'do not travel' advisory list, while moving Pakistan and Bangladesh, among others, to the less restrictive 'reconsider travel' list. Meanwhile, gathering of more than 6 people is being banned in England, as per reports. The United Kingdom, which has recorded over 3.52 lakh cases so far, saw the addition of over 15,000 new infections to its tally in the past week.
