From Canada extending flight ban to new rules & relaxations in Maharashtra, here are the top updates on the pandemic. Canada extended the ban on flights from India till September 21. This is the fifth time that the ban has been extended after it was first imposed on April 22. Meanwhile, the Maharashtra government said it can re-impose lockdown in the state if the need for medical oxygen surpasses 700 metric tonnes. Also, the number of Indian students taking admission into UK University increased by 19 percent after the UK moved India from the Red list to the Amber list.
