Covid vaccine: Bharat Biotech ends deal with Brazil; EU approves Moderna

- Bharat Biotech on Friday said it has terminated agreements it had signed with two Brazilian companies - Precisa Medicamentos and Envixia Pharmaceuticals LLC to introduce its Covid-19 Covaxin in Brazil. This comes after Brazil suspended deal to procure 20 million Covaxin doses. Meanwhile, European Medicines Agency approved Moderna's vaccine for children aged 12-17 years.
