Former union minister Ajit Singh dies of Covid; Prez, PM Modi condole demise

Former Union minister & Rashtriya Lok Dal leader Chaudhary Ajit Singh passed away. Singh, 82, passed away at a Gurgaon hospital on May 6 battling Covid-19. Singh was diagnosed positive for Covid-19 on April 20, informed his family. President Ram Nath Kovind and Prime Minister Narendra Modi condoled the demise of the former RLD leader. Chaudhary Ajit Singh began his political career as a Rajya Sabha MP in 1986. He served as union minister for civil aviation, agriculture, and food processing industries in different governments.
