‘Holdup not on our end’: United States on delay in Covid vaccine grant to India

The United States said the delay in providing Covid vaccine to India is not from their end. The Biden administration said that there are legal and regulatory issues that need to be worked out. “We have seen in some places that there are legal or regulatory issues that need to be worked out country by country as we are delivering vaccines. The holdup is not on this end but we're eager to get vaccines & continue assistance to the people of India and want to continue to be a part of the arsenal of solving the pandemic,” said Jen Psaki, Spokesperson, The White House.
