IAF aircraft with oxygen tankers from Singapore lands in WB's Panagarh airbase

- IAF continues its efforts towards Covid relief as India fights a devastating second wave. IAF IL-76 aircraft airlifted 3 cryogenic oxygen containers from Singapore on Saturday. As per official statement, the oxygen tankers landed at Panagarh Air base, West Bengal. An IAF C-17 is also bringing 3 oxygen containers & 3 pallets of respirators from Israel. The IAF aircraft will reach Hindan Air base in Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh. Meanwhile, IAF aircraft are already ferrying oxygen tankers within the country. With over 4.1 lakh new cases, India again reported the highest single-day spike on Thursday.
