In a major boost for India's defence capabilities, the Donald Trump administration cleared an arms deal worth $155 million. The United States of America will sell Harpoon missiles and lightweight torpedoes to India. Meanwhile, India observed BR Ambedkar's birth anniversary in a muted fashion, given the Covid-19 pandemic.
