India’s Covid jabs record on PM’s birthday; Health Min says ‘gift’ from India

India broke its own Covid-19 vaccination record on Friday. On Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s birthday, India administered over 2.2 crore Covid vaccine doses in a single day. This is the first time that India has administered over 2 crore vaccine doses in one day. This is also the fourth time that India administered over 1 crore doses in a single day.
