‘Positive news’: Govt, while warning of possible ‘exponential rise’ in Covid cases

The Union government and the Indian Council of Medical Research held a press conference as India's Covid-19 case count crossed 8,300. Over 900 additional cases have been reported between April 11 and 12, while a total of 270-plus deaths have been recorded so far. With people staying at home, and some companies resorting to 'work from home', the Ministry of Home Affairs warned people regarding cyber crime. The Ministry of Health and Family Welfare revealed how India has been ahead of the number of expected critical cases when it comes to requirement of isolation beds.
