‘Rs 406 crore’: Uttar Pradesh govt reveals total collection in Covid Care Fund

Uttar Pradesh government revealed the total collections in the state's Covid Care Fund so far. Rs 406.99 crore have been deposited in India's largest state's war-chest to battle the Covid-19 pandemic. Out of the total amount, almost Rs 215 crore has been transferred from the CM Relief Fund, while public contribution adds up to Rs 192 crore. Uttar Pradesh has reported 17,700 Covid cases so far with at least 550 deaths.
