Lack of protective gear for healthcare workers? Safdarjung doctor speaks

Dr Manish Kumar, President of Resident Doctors' Association at Delhi's Safdarjung Hospital, spoke to Hindustan Times' National Political Editor Sunetra Choudhury, about the experience of fighting at the frontlines against Covid-19. He said that the hospital has adequate equipment at present, but the future situation is unknown since the number of Covid-19 cases is rising 'day-by-day'. He also spoke about the protocol being followed at the hospital to isolate suspected Covid-19 patients as soon as possible, and also the procedure followed by the staff to prevent infection.
