What’s the big deal about anti-malaria drugs?

India has banned the export of the anti-malaria drug hydroxychloroquine and its active pharmaceuticals ingredients (APIS).This will ensure India has enough antimalarial stockpiled and can ramp up production at a short notice. President Trump said he has requested PM Modi to provide anti-malaria drugs to the United States. So, what's the fuss about malaria drugs? Hindustan Times' Health Editor, Sanchita Sharma explains.
