Why union minister lost his cool at covid hospital; video goes viral

• A video of Union Minister Prahlad Patel telling a man he would get 'two slaps' went viral. As per the purported video, the man was seeking oxygen cylinder for his ailing mother. In reply, Patel could be heard saying that the man would get two slaps if he spoke rudely. Opposition Congress was quick to take swipes at the union minister over the incident. The Minister’s office, however, said that the video that has gone viral is an edited version. They claimed that the man was abusing doctors and nurses and Patel was only trying to explain things to him. The viral video surfaced amid reports of acute oxygen shortage across the country. Patel, who is the MP from Damoh, was inspecting the district hospital in Damoh. Patel's inspection comes two days after oxygen cylinders were looted from the hospital. On Thursday, Damoh reported 167 coronavirus cases, its highest daily rise.
