Watch: After river, bodies found in sand near Ganga in UP amid Covid crisis

- Days after several bodies were spotted floating in rivers in Uttar Pradesh and Bihar, corpses have been found buried in sand. Multiple graves were reportedly found in Prayagraj's Sangam area in UP. A local resident alleged that bodies were being buried for 2-3 months, and numbered 400-500. He appealed to the government to prevent pollution of the river Ganga, as the bodies were buried on its bank. There have been reports of overwhelming numbers at funeral spots amid the Covid-19 pandemic, because of which people are dumping bodies in other spots, some people allege.
