Watch: Amid Covid crisis, decomposed bodies seen floating in Ganga in Bihar

- Several partially decomposed bodies of suspected Covid-19 patients were found floating in river Ganga in Buxar district of Bihar. Officials in Chausa block of Buxar, which borders Uttar Pradesh, rushed to the spot of the unseemly sight upon hearing the news. Local authorities said that the bodies could have floated downstream from neighbouring Uttar Pradesh. This comes days after multiple bodies were found floating in Yamuna river in Uttar Pradesh’s Hamirpur region. These reports come amid crunch in space to bury or cremate the dead.
