Watch: Indian govt's 'Family Man' meme with Srikant, Chellam sir | Covid vaccine

• The govt of India has joined the meme tribe of the popular web series 'The Family Man’. Govt's Twitter handle for Covid updates invoked show's famous character 'Chellam Sir’. Riding on back of the show’s popularity, I&B ministry tweeted a Covid awareness meme. It shared a collage picture of two of the popular characters who are having a conversation. The post has a message for people to get vaccinated against Covid-19 at the earliest. 'The Family Man', streaming on Amazon Prime Video, is a multilingual action thriller. The series follows the exploits of a terrorism probe agency official, Srikant Tiwari. Fronted by Manoj Bajpayee, Tiwari balances his high-risk job with family responsibilities. 'Chellam sir' is a retired top intelligence officer & is played by Udayabhanu Maheshwaran. In the series, 'Chellam sir' is seen helping Tiwari whenever there's crisis during mission, First season of the series went online in 2019 & the second started streaming on June 4.
