‘WHO supported India with 170 MT of essential Covid medical supplies’: Official

Dr Poonam Khetrapal Singh, Regional Director, WHO South-East Asia said WHO has supported India with 170 MT of essential medical supplies - Oxygen concentrators, testing kits, hospital beds, PPEs and auxiliary health facilities near existing hospitals. "These supplies are expected to help in filling critical gaps," she said. "Collective efforts are needed to strengthen pandemic response. WHO is committed to working with all countries in the Region and supporting them in the current surge and beyond," the Regional Director added. Watch the full video for more.
