In the latest, the U.S. President appeared to mix up French President Emmanuel Macron with the country's former leader, Francois Mitterrand. Biden claimed he met Mitterrand in 2021, who has been dead for nearly 30 years. The incident happened during a campaign speech in Las Vegas, where Biden was recounting his meeting with leaders of G7 nations in 2021.
