India notched a comfortable 7-wicket win over Sri Lanka in the 2nd T20I. The hosts won the toss & opted to field first. Pacers Navdeep Saini & Shardul Thakur led India's bowling attack. Saini scalped two wickets while Thakur took three. Lanka was restricted to 142 at a loss of 9 wickets. Shikhar Dhawan & KL Rahul opened for India in style. The duo laid the base for a successful chase with a 71-run partnership. India surpassed the target in 17.3 overs to take a 1-0 lead in the series. The first match in Guwahati was rained out and the last is in Pune.
