Rajasthan Royals beat Kolkata Knight Riders by three wickets in Kolkata. Varun Aaron got the Rajasthan Royals off to a great start with the wickets of Chris Lynn and Shubman Gill. The Rajasthan Royals put the Kolkata Knight Riders under pressure by picking up wickets at regular intervals. However, Dinesh Karthik played a fantastic innings of 97* runs to help KKR post 175/6 in 20 overs. Ajinkya Rahane and Sanju Samson put Rajasthan in the driver's seat with a 53-run opening stand. Thereafter, Riyan Parag strung important partnerships with Shreyas Gopal and Jofra Archer to put Rajasthan's chase back on track.
