IPL 2020: Rajasthan, Punjab teams leave for UAE, with masks & PPE amid Covid

Indian Premier League teams and crew have begun leaving for the United Arab Emirates. The 2020 edition of the tournament has been shifted to the UAE in view of the Covid-19 pandemic. Players of the Rajasthan Royals franchise were seen wearing personal protective equipment (PPE), face masks, and gloves as precautionary measures. Kings XI Punjab pacer Mohammed Shami shared photographs from the plane with his teammates seen wearing masks and gloves. Shami captioned the post 'Apne Munde... Off to Dubai'. Chennai Super Kings are slated to fly to the middle-east nation on August 21. The tournament is slated to be held between September 19 and November 10. Dubai, Sharjah and Abu Dhabi will host the matches.
