After porn scandal, Shilpa Shetty & Raj Kundra fined ₹3 lakh by SEBI; Know why

SEBI has slapped a fine on Shilpa Shetty, her husband Raj Kundra & his firm Viaan Industries. The penalty of ₹3 lakh has been imposed for flouting SEBI's Insider Trading rules. Shilpa, Raj & Viaan Industries delayed in revelation of allocation of preferential shares. This comes amid Mumbai Esplanade court refusing to grant bail to 45-year-old Raj Kundra. The businessman was remanded to police custody for 14 days till July 27 on Tuesday. Raj has been held by Mumbai Police in connection to alleged creation of pornographic films. Raj was apprehended on July 19 along with 10 others on charges related to the matter.
