‘Always for India’: Vir Das loses Emmy to Call My Agent; shares photo of medal

Actor-comedian Vir Das was nominated for the International Emmy awards 2021. The nomination comes amid his 'Two Indias' monologue which kicked up a storm. The actor-comedian was nominated for his Netflix comedy special, Vir Das: For India. However, Vir’s Netflix show lost the prestigious award to France's Call My Agent. Vir shared a picture of a nomination medal and a bowl of salad from the ceremony. He wrote on Instagram,”It was an honour to represent my country. Thanks so much to the Emmys For India.
