Asha Bhosle’s daughter, Varsha commits sucide

In a shocking incidence, veteran singer Asha Bhosle's 55-year-old daughter, Varsha Bhosle committed suicide today, by shooting herself in the head at the singer's residence 'Prabhu Kunj' in Peddar Road, Mumbai. Varsha worked as a freelance political columnist and journalist, and reportedly had a history of depression. Varsha, was in news in 2008 also when she was admitted to Jaslok Hospital, after suffering an adverse reaction to a possible overdose of medicines she had taken the night before.
