Deepika Padukone reveals why she quit badminton and became an actor

Deepika Padukone attended the launch event of the book 'The Dot That Went For A Walk'.The book has a portion of the actor's battle with depression. She also revealed what made her quit badminton and become an actress. She said, “Even before I realised I started playing professional badminton but it's when I was a teenager I realised that may be this is not something that I want to continue and pursue an play professionally and every time I watched a movie somehow I felt like that's where I belonged.”
