Cannes: Deepika stuns red carpet as jury, Anurag Thakur-led contingent shines

India’s largest ever contingent, led by Union Minister Anurag Thakur, walked the Cannes Film Festival red carpet. Film personalities included R Madhavan, Nawazuddin Siddiqui, Ricky Kej, Vani Tripathi. Filmmaker Shekhar Kapur and lyricist Prasoon Joshi were also spotted at the red carpet. Deepika Padukone stunned the red carpet dressed in a black and gold saree designed by Sabyasachi. Deepika Padukone is a jury member this year at the Cannes Film Festival. The Bollywood actor hit the red carpet of the festival with eight other jury members. India has been designated as the ‘Country of Honour’ in tribute to the 75th year of Indian independence.
