#MeToo movement: Alok Nath seeks apology from Vinta Nanda

Actor Alok Nath on Monday has filed a civil defamation suit against TV producer Vinta Nanda and demanded a written apology and compensation of Re 1. Earlier, Nanda had accused Nath of raping her. Vinta was the writer and producer of TV show 'Tara' in the 90s, in which Nath played a lead role. Following her allegation, two other women namely Sandhya Mridul and Deepika Amin also accused Nath of harassment and inappropriate behaviour.
