Neil Patrick Harris all set to host Oscars 2015. Here's what to expect

The host of the 87th Oscars, Neil Patrick Harris, gives the lowdown on what the Oscars mean to him and how he intends to leave his mark with this year's awards show. When asked whether he'll seize the opportunities provided by the bounty of recent headline-making scandals and hot water-cooler fodder, he said, "My style of comedy for an award show is a little bit different. I have spent a lot of time watching the past years' shows. And the ones the leave the biggest mark for me are the ones that aren't so topical." The 87th Oscars will be held on February 22, 2015, at the Dolby Theatre and Highland Center in Hollywood.
