Sridevi was the perfect mother who doted on her daughters completely. Janvhi, who recently made her Bollywood debut with Dhadak, has often talked about the void her mother left in their lives when she died in February. Sridevi was in Dubai to attend the wedding celebrations of her nephew Mohit Marwah when she suffered a heart attack and died of accidental drowning. The entire country mourned her death for days and several thousand turned up to her funeral to pay their respects. In an interview after her death, Boney said with a heavy heart, “She was suddenly gone. These past months have been very difficult. Everything went on a freeze-pause in our lives. There were so many things left unsaid and undone. Now I am finally picking up the pieces again trying to put my life together for my children's sake. There were things that were put on pause. I am trying to resume my life. I am yet to come to terms with the fact that she's gone forever.”
