Salman Khan has once again proved why he is called the Sultan when it comes to star power and popularity. According to the 2016 list of Forbes for rich Indian celebrities, the “Dabangg” Khan has scored the numero uno position beating his contemporary Shah Rukh Khan, who is placed at the second position. Salman topped the list with impressive Rs 270.33 crore revenue for the year 2016. Placed in the third position is India's Test cricket captain Virat Kohli, who also got the most popular celebrity tag. Bollywood star Akshay Kumar reserved the fourth spot in the coveted list with estimated earnings of Rs 203.03 crore.
