Experts reveals why Taiwan's new F-16s will 'fail' against China despite massive upgrades | USA

Taiwan's first two new U.S.-built F-16 Block 70 fighters are expected to arrive within days, beginning deliveries under Taipei's $7.76 billion order for 66 aircraft. The jets bring the advanced AN/APG-83 AESA radar, while future infrared search-and-track systems could give Taiwan another way to detect China's stealthy J-20s and J-35s. But analysts warn the F-16V still lacks an overall advantage against the J-20, whose stealth, sensors and long-range missiles remain formidable. Can Taiwan combine American radar, infrared tracking and networked air defenses to find Xi's most dangerous fighters before they strike?
