FIFA World Cup 2018: ‘Antoine Griezmann France’s key component’

France national football team coach Didier Deschamps on Monday, 11th June 2018, labelled striker Antoine Griezmann “a key component” in 'Les Bleus'' bid to win the FIFA World Cup 2018 in Russia. “Antoine is a technical leader because of what he's able to do on the pitch. He's someone who is loving life, he's frequently smiling, maybe not always, but very often. He will not become someone who is shouting at others, but considering what he does represent for others, it is true that he's a key component.” Deschamps did, however, concede that the side needed to show defensive improvement if they are to pose a challenge.
