Reinaldo Rueda appointed head coach of Chile football team

Reinaldo Rueda has been appointed as the new head coach of the Chile football team. Rueda will be aiming to galvanise a Chile side that has not qualified for the 2018 FIFA Football World Cup in Russia. Speaking in a press conference, Rueda outlined his two main goals. “”I have two main objectives entering this job, one is the Copa America, and the other is qualifying for Qatar 2022. Naturally, we will begin the selection process and prepare all our available players to the best competitive level. We are faced with a generational change in Chile, that is very hard to deal with, for any country in the world. Any country with a football culture, will find this process very difficult.
