It was a day of fine margins at the FIFA World Cup 2018 as Portugal and Spain both registered narrow victories to take a big step towards qualification to the knock-out stages. Cristiano Ronaldo was the star for the Euro 2016 champions once more as he scored his fourth goal of the tournament to beat Morocco 1-0.
