The United States has taken action against entities in the NATO nation of Turkey. The U.S. has sanctioned three entities and one individual based in Turkey and Lebanon. Washington accused them of giving “critical financial support” to a financial network used by Iran’s Quds Force (IRGC-QF) and Lebanon’s Hezbollah. Lebanese group Hezbollah claims U.S. action is a reflection of "fear and frustration." Notably, U.S. sanctions come at a time when many claim the Israel-Hezbollah war is inevitable.
