The Trump administration has notified Congress of a potential $5 billion arms sale to Saudi Arabia, including more than 10,000 bombs and 10,004 extended-range JDAM kits, according to The Washington Post. The package reportedly includes 5,000 BLU-117 2,000-pound bombs and 5,004 BLU-111 500-pound bombs, with Boeing named as the principal contractor. The proposed sale comes as Saudi Arabia resumes airstrikes against Houthi forces in Yemen, but the deal remains subject to congressional review.
