Punjab Chief Minister Charanjit Singh Channi explained why Congress distanced itself from former CM Captain Amarinder Singh. Responding to a question at the Hindustan Times Leadership Summit 2021, Channi said: "What did Amarinder Singh not get from the party? He has been MLA, MP, Chief Minister.
