In this exclusive conversation at the Hindustan Times Leadership Summit 2025, Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai said that while Prime Minister Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah have set a target of making Chhattisgarh Naxal‑free by 2026, he is confident the state can achieve this by January 2026 itself. He credited the “double‑engine” government model and Amit Shah’s guidance for accelerating anti‑Naxal operations and strengthening security on the ground.
