A new group called RSS Friends has registered with the US Department of Justice as a foreign agent, naming the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh as its "foreign principal". The filing came just days before RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat's rally at Madison Square Garden, and after the RSS denied hiring lobbyists in Washington last year.
