'I must step away...': Tulsi Gabbard announces shock resignation from Trump administration

Another major shock has hit Donald Trump’s administration as Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard announced her resignation amid the ongoing Iran war crisis. Gabbard told Trump her husband had been diagnosed with a rare form of bone cancer and said she could not continue in the demanding role while supporting him through treatment. Trump later confirmed the resignation and named Aaron Lukas as acting DNI. The departure comes as critics question whether Gabbard was quietly pushed out over tensions surrounding the Iran conflict, intelligence restructuring and declassification battles inside Washington.
