22 passengers in 2 buses missing as old bridge collapses

At least 22 people travelling in two buses went missing after part of a bridge on the Mumbai-Goa highway in Maharashtra's Raigad District collapsed on Tuesday night. The National Disaster Response Force (NDRF) later sent a 50-member team to carry out relief operations at the accident spot. The Meteorological Department has warned of heavy to very rainfall in coastal areas from Raigad to Sindhurdurg in Konkan over the next 24 hours.
